This week has seen us welcome some clients back into the office as an alternative to meeting over Zoom or Skype, albeit with a much-reduced staff, and it has felt great!
Although meeting online remains the preferred option for those who would rather deal with us remotely, we also understand that some of you might prefer to sit with us in a room, socially distanced of course.

If you’d like to see us in person, we’ll send you a confirmation email with details about how we are adhering to government guidance through our safety protocol. Measures include hand sanitiser at the door and masks to be worn until you get to the meeting room. We’re monitoring these procedures regularly and will let you know if things change.
Above all, we want you to feel confident that the office is a completely safe and hygienic environment for you to meet with us should you wish.
Evolution not revolution
Sutherland Independent continues to evolve in other ways too. Our new Client Hub, available online and via a smart phone app, offers an improved safe and secure way for us to do business with you. You can use it to see all your pensions and investments in one place at any time, and clients continue to feedback on how intuitive it is.
The main advantage is that it saves you time and hassle because we no longer require a ‘wet’ ink signature from you; documents can be signed electronically instead in just a few clicks. This means no more printing out, posting and filing bulky paperwork, which is also much better for the environment and reflects our desire to move to more environmentally aware and socially conscious ways of working.
